NZAPEP Conference 2012 Terms & Conditions

To be eligible for the $100 early bird discount, delegates must register and pay in full on or before Friday 27 July 2012. Registrations that are not paid in full by this date will be converted to the standard rate and an invoice for the balance will be issued.

All payments must be received in full prior to attending the conference. Delegates are not considered to be registered for the conference (including associated workshops and social events) until the registration fee has been paid in full.

Cancellations for the full registration or any part of the registration, received on or before 24 August 2011 will incur a $100 administration fee. Cancellations received between 25 August 2011 and 1 September 2011 will incur a fee of 50% of the item(s) cancelled. All cancellations on or after 1 September will not be eligible for a refund.

All alterations or cancellations must be made in writing to confernce@nzapep.co.nz or faxed to 0800 692 737

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organisation. Transfers can be made by the registered person in writing to NZAPEP at  confernce@nzapep.co.nz or faxed to 0800 692 737 no later than 1 September 2012. Details must include the full name of the replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be carried to the new person unless otherwise specified. Transfers notified after 1 September 2012 or at the time of registration at the conference will incur a $10 name badge re-printing fee.

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

NZAPEP reserves the right to reject a registration without giving reasons or to terminate a registration at any time.

Privacy

Registrant’s names and contact details will be:

·        for notification of conference-related matters;

·        contact information of workshop registrants for direct communication regarding the workshops only;

·        for publication of a delegate list which will be distributed to all delegates and sponsors attending the conference, in print and/or electronic form.

·       subject to strict conditions of use by NZAPEP, and

·       will not be used for any other purpose without the consent of the registrant

 If you do not wish for your details to be included in the delegate list, please select “Exclude from Delegate List” option on the registration form.

By registering to the conference, delegates agree to receive emails in relation to this and future events of this type. You may choose not to receive such emails at any time by unsubscribing.

Cancellation of conference by NZAPEP

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of NZAPEP to alter the times, dates, itineraries or speakers of the conference. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference, the maximum liability of NAZAPEP is limited to a refund of the conference registration fee, with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever. In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of the conference due to circumstances beyond NZAPEP’s reasonable control including but not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, acts of God and natural disaster, NZAPEP cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by delegates as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled.

It is strongly recommended that delegates take out insurance at the time of registration to include any eventuality including, but not limited to, loss of fees through cancellation of the delegate’s participation in the conference, or through cancellation of the conference, loss of airfares through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services, strikes, loss or damages to personal property, force majeure or any other reason.

 Accommodation

 All accommodation bookings, credit card guarantees and payments for accommodation are undertaken between the delegate and the venue.  NZAPEP has only provided information about suitable accommodation.  Bookingsare made at the delegate’s risk.

 Delegates attend the conference at their own risk. Delegates agree not to hold NZAPEP liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by delegates including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through registering for the conference, attending the conference, cancellation of the conference, failure of the conference to achieve your expectations, or for any error or omission by NZAPep . Delegates agree not to hold NZAPEP liable or responsible for any personal injury (i.e. physical, psychological or emotional stress) or any loss or damage to personal property.

 Other conditions

 NZAPEP reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the New Zealand and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

NZAPEP Roadshow

  • Bookings are final.
  • No refunds are available.
  • Where the nominated person is unable to attend then a substitution will be allowed.
